Terms of service

1. Who you are contracting with

TrX Journal is supplied and licensed to you by TrX Journal(“we”, “us”). These terms form the agreement between you and us.

Whop is our payment processor and nothing more.Whop processes your payment and passes us the email address you used at checkout so we can deliver your account. Whop is not the seller, supplier, or licensor of TrX Journal and is not a party to this agreement. Your use of Whop’s checkout is additionally subject to Whop’s own buyer terms.

2. What TrX Journal is — and is not

TrX Journal is a record-keeping and analytics tool. You import a history of trades you have already executed and closed, and TrX Journal pairs those executions into round-trip trades and calculates statistics from them.

TrX Journal is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice, and it does not make recommendations. All figures are calculated from data you supply. Past performance does not indicate future results.

TrX Journal does not, and is not designed to:

• provide financial, investment, tax, or trading advice of any kind
• make recommendations, or tell you what to do next
• predict or forecast any market, price, or outcome
• place an order, change or cancel one, or move money. A broker connection is read-only: it imports fills you have already executed, with a key you create without trading permission, and nothing in the software can act on your account
• supply market data, quotes, or any data of its own

Every figure TrX Journal displays is arithmetic performed on data you supplied. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what you import and for any decision you make. Nothing in the software or on this website is a solicitation or an offer to buy or sell any financial instrument.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to purchase or use TrX Journal. You must not use TrX Journal if doing so would breach any law that applies to you.

4. Your licence and how long it lasts

On payment we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TrX Journal for your own personal or internal business use, for 3 years of access beginning on the date of your purchase.

The licence includes every update we release to your tier during that period at no extra cost. This is a fixed-term licence, not a perpetual one. When the term ends your sign-in access ends, but you may still export your own journal data as CSV or JSON — we will not withhold your own records from you at any point.

The tiers are:

• Tapestry — $259 one-time, 3 years of access. The complete journal for one trader, with one broker connected.
• Studio — $499 one-time, 3 years of access. Three brokers feeding one journal, plus seats for a small desk.
• Atelier — $1,500 one-time, 3 years of access. Every broker you trade with in one journal, plus seats for a working desk.

Your account is for one person. Do not share your credentials, resell access, or sublicense the software. You may not copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer TrX Journal except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable by law.

5. Your account and credentials

After payment we generate a username and password for you. They are shown once on screen and emailed to you. You are responsible for keeping them secure and for all activity under your account. We require you to change your password at first sign-in. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, email [email protected] immediately.

6. Your data

Your trade history belongs to you. We store your journal so you can reach it from any device. You can export it or delete it at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently erases your journal from our systems. Our privacy policy explains what we store and why.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use TrX Journal for anything unlawful, or to store unlawfully obtained data
• share, resell, or sublicense your access
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to another user’s data
• interfere with, overload, or probe the service or its infrastructure
• present output from TrX Journal to others as financial advice, or as a recommendationor forecast of any kind

8. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund, no questions asked. The full policy is on our refunds page. Whop may additionally refund a buyer at its own discretion under its own terms.

9. Availability

We aim to keep TrX Journal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely during your paid term, we will give you reasonable notice, an export of your data, and a pro-rata refund for the unexpired part of your term.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms — in particular the acceptable-use rules — or if your payment is reversed, charged back, or refunded. Where a breach is capable of being put right, we will normally contact you first.

11. Liability

TrX Journal is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of TrX Journal or from any figure it displays. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3-year term in which the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will email you at the address on your account. Continuing to use TrX Journal after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the supplier is registered, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer right you have where you live.
