What you receive

TrX Journal is a hosted service. A purchase delivers an account: a username and a password, with the tier you bought applied to it. The tier sets how many broker connections the journal may hold at once (Tapestry 1, Studio 3, Atelier 10) and, on a desk tier, how many seats come with it. There is no software to download or install, and nothing is shipped.

When

Immediately. The moment the payment confirms, the checkout page opens your access details page, which shows your username and password once. The same details are emailed to the address you used at checkout, normally within a minute. Your order page, linked from that email, shows the username again at any time.

Occasionally the payment processor holds a payment for a few minutes while it runs its own checks. The order page keeps waiting and your access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. You are never charged twice for one order.

If the details do not arrive

1. Check your spam or junk folder for a message from TrX Journal.
2. Use the re-send form on the access details page, or on your order page, to have the email sent again.
3. If it still has not arrived, email [email protected] from the address you paid with. We check the payment and deliver your details by hand within one business day.

Access period

Every tier includes 3 years of access, counted from the day of your purchase, and every update released to your tier in that time. Your expiry date is shown in Settings. When the term ends, sign-in access ends; your journal remains exportable as CSV or JSON.

Moving up a tier

Buying a higher tier with the email address of an existing account does not create a second account. The existing account moves to the higher tier at once and a fresh 3-year term starts from the date of the new purchase. Your password is unchanged, and the email confirming the purchase says so. The higher tier is paid in full at its listed price; nothing already paid for the earlier tier rolls over or is credited.

Desk seats

On a desk tier, the buyer takes the first seat and receives their own details as above. The remaining seats are delivered as invite links in Settings, one per seat, which the buyer sends to each trader. A seat is active once the trader has opened their link and set a password. Seats can be renamed or freed and handed to someone else at any time.

Broker connections

Connections are set up by you, inside the journal, after you sign in. A direct connection imports the history your broker’s API returns on its first sync, subject to the broker’s own limits on how far back it reports, then stays current on a schedule and on demand. A Feed API connection delivers whatever your side pushes to it. CSV import is available at once on every tier.

Where we deliver

Anywhere the service can lawfully be provided. We do not restrict by country, but you must not buy or use TrX Journal where doing so would breach a law that applies to you.
