TrX Journal is software. We are not a broker, a dealer, an investment adviser, a financial institution or a tax practice, and we are not regulated as any of them. We do not hold your money or your positions, and we have no view on either.
Not advice
Nothing on this website, in the software, in a report it generates or in an email we send is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice. TrX Journal never makes recommendations, does not tell you what to trade or when, and does not predict or forecast any market, price or outcome. Every figure it shows is arithmetic on trades you have already closed. Nothing here is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
Your figures are only as good as your data
Statistics are computed from the fills your broker reports or from the file you import, as mapped by you. A broker may report a fill late, differently from its statements, or not at all; a CSV may be mapped to the wrong column. Check what the journal shows against your broker statements before you rely on it. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data in your journal.
Trading risk
Trading financial instruments involves a risk of loss, which for leveraged products can exceed the amount deposited. Past performance does not indicate future results. A statistic about your past trades, however it is computed, says nothing about your future ones. Any decision you make is yours alone.
Sample data and the free preview
Screenshots and charts on this website are drawn from sample data chosen to be near break-even. They illustrate what the software displays and are not the record of any trader. The free preview shows statistics from a file you supply, computed in your browser; it is a demonstration of the software and makes no statement about trading.
Not tax or legal advice
Exports and reports are records of your trades: dates, quantities, prices, fees and profit or loss. They are not a tax return, a tax calculation or a statement of what you owe. How those records are treated for tax depends on where you live and on your circumstances. Take them to a qualified professional.
Broker connections are read-only
A broker connection imports fills you have already executed. The software contains no code path that places, changes or cancels an order or moves money, and the setup guides ask you to create API keys without trading or withdrawal permission. You remain fully responsible for your broker account, for the keys you create and for complying with your broker’s terms.

Broker, platform and product names on this website are the property of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. TrX Journal is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any broker or platform listed.
